Towers Watson found that 85% of employers offered stress-management help through their employee assistance program, and only 5% of employees had used it.1 A benchmark of EAP vendors put average yearly counseling use at 4.5% of covered employees.2

Employees rarely go looking for a benefit, so Coach Revy goes to them. It follows up on missed workouts, sends meal and habit reminders, and asks for progress updates.

Annual program cost = employees × monthly price × 12
Active users = employees × share who actively use it
Health savings = active users × health cost × reduction
Productivity savings = active users × productivity loss × reduction
Net savings = total savings − program cost
ROI = net savings ÷ program cost
Break-even = program cost ÷ (active users × (health cost + productivity loss))

This is a planning estimate. Actual results depend on your workforce, your benefits and how many employees use the program. Savings are counted only for active users, and price is counted for every covered employee. Employee-paid add-ons are not included.
